The moon is broken...
Wednesday night was the lunar eclipse, which my children all stayed up (rather late) to see. The younger ones went to bed as the moon was completely in the earth's shadow, and all red. The next morning, Gabriel got up and wanted to know if we would never have to go to bed again, now that the moon was broken.
I decided not to get into specifics and replied that yes, he would have to go back to bed at night, because the moon was fixed again. And that same evening, there it was huge and yellow in the night sky.
