Bionicle Pinata

Image
Bionicle Pinata  Here is the beginning of my pinata, I drew in the lines because it is hard to see the built up areas on the pinata. There are actually no lines at all on the pinata, only pieces slightly lower or higher than the rest... it will be easier to see once I start painting. The newspaper print is also rather confusing, it keeps one from seeing the details.

Well, I have transferred both Jean-Alexandre and Dominic from the French school (Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes) to the English school here (St. John's). Dominic is back in kindergarten and Jean-Alexandre is continuing on in grade five. I expect that Dominic will be more at his level now. Instead of being a young and behind grade one student, he will be an advanced and older kindergarten student. That should build his confidence (hopefully). I have been working on the bionicle pinata and now I have to let it dry and then it will be ready for painting. I also have to finish painting the entry to our house and Gabriel's room, do a lot of house cleaning, and then maybe we'll be ready for Dominic's birthday party. I just have to give myself a kick in the you know what to get myself started on the house cleaning. Ha ha. Well I guess I better get that body part in motion and start getting the supper ready as well! Bye for now.

I am planning Dominic's birthday party, and a Halloween party and I will have to squeeze in a little party for Gabriel too, and somehow manage to do something for Marc... Anyway, Dominic's birthday is the 25th of September, that is what I am planning right now... He wants a Bionicle pinata, so I really have to get started on that tommorrow. Gabriel's birthday is the 26th of October, Marc's is the 27th and the Halloween Party is the 29th!!! So I guess that week I'll be pretty busy!! I think we'll just do a three-in-one... For my Halloween Party, I am doing a Lord of the Rings theme. I want to decorate my kitchen/diningroom and livingroom as the dining Hall of the Prancing Pony in Bree and just invite people to come dressed as the race of their choice. I will have to find some little tables or make some so we can have a few little tables around the floor instead of just one big family table. Well, that is pretty much what is going on in my little...

Well, it's September again and the kids are back to school... Dominic will be six on the 25th and I have to organize a party for him... Dominic wants a Bionicle pinata for his party. I am in the middle of painting the entry and Gabriel's room... it seems like there is still so much left to be done on this house, like we'll never be done! I signed the Dominic and Jean-Alexandre up for a soccer camp with the Celtix soccer club... it would be nice for Jean-Alexandre to be able to play for them,... they are a higher level than what he was playing. As for me, I have given my name to sub for players, I'm not going to play regularly this season, because our bank account is rather limited since we put in the second bathroom... Maryssa hasn't started pre-school yet becasue they only start in mid-October!! (Weird) She was so looking forward to going back to school... Time to go,... I hear the patter of little feet (human and canine) upstairs and I'm sure th...

Happy Birthday Cecil!!! Well, I had a busy day today, cooking, ripping wallpaper off the wall, running after kids,... It is so hot in my house,... if only it were relatively warm outside, I might take a dip in the pool just to cool off... Our bathroom is now functional, as the electrician paid us a visit yesterday, the pump is working in there and we have light! So here I am, sitting in front of the computer with a little wine and a piece of french bread, to relax a bit before I have to put everyone to bed. Sighhhhhhhh.... Good night!

From Hi5 - August 25, 2004

It is 10:25, I am sitting in front of the computer, taking Dominic's turn,... bad me! I have a house to clean and I still have to unpack things and find a place for them or else put them away in bags/boxes so I can give them away. I went through a bunch of baby clothes and gave half of them away. Now I should go through kitchen stuff too... The computer room is a mess, with boxes all over and the kids aren't careful with anything, they nock stuff over and don't bother to pick it up,... grr! It's like we moved in a month ago instead of a year ago! That is how bad it is! But there was (and still is) so much to do on this house! The boys still don't have a proper room, which means no closet, (no storage)... Anyway...

It's about 10:00 in the morning right now, and only two children are up. Marc is at work and the men working on the bathroom are here right now. They discovered a leak from the pipes in the ceiling, and found out it came from a pipe leading to the washing machine upstairs... so that meant they had to undo part of the ceiling to get at the pipes and now they'll have to repair the pipe and patch up the ceiling again... more work!!! Last night Dominic played soccer. They also all got their pictures taken and we ordered some sports cards for Dominic, with his picture on them of course as well as his "stats". Maybe people will be collecting them some day? Ha ha. I also took some pictures with my digital camera, but I didn't realize I had a zoom on the camera,... so I'll have to bring it again Thursday and take some with the zoom! Dominic scored a goal yesterday! (This is the 4th time I think, or the 5th?) So we went to Tim Horton's to celebrate. Jean-Alexand...
